What is the Consumer Portal?

The Consumer Portal is a way of seemlessly connecting your supply chain data with your consumers. Its designed to provide consumers with information about your products in a way that can help educate and help the consumers make better decisions about the products they are purchasing.

QR Code Access

The primary route of access if via QR Codes in point of sale material or on the product itself. When the QR code is scanned, the consumer will be taken to a page that is branded for your company and product.

The contents of the page can be customised to include the information you want to share with your consumers, and can include items such as carbon footprint, countries involved in the supply chain, total distance travelled, just to a few. The portal can also show how data has changed over time, which allows you to tell a story about the journey you have been on and where the product is potentially heading.

Why its important

There is a lack of trust with consumers on the data that is provided to them about the products they are purchasing. Much of the information presented is generic and does not tell the whole story. The Consumer Portal is a way of providing consumers with factual, and verified data, about the products they are interested in purchasing.

Verified Data

Only verified data is presented to the consumer. The core Zero Pro platform has strict data verification processes to ensure the data entered the system has been verified before it is used in any calculation. This ensures that the data presented to the consumer is accurate and can be trusted. The consumer can also see how the data has changed over time, which allows them to see the journey of the product and how it has evolved.

Total Control

QR Codes are generated at a product level and can be deactivated and withdrawn at any time. Participation in the Consumer Portal is completely optional. You can decide to partipate at a later date, and you can also decide to withdraw at any time.
